Center for Integrative Research in Computing and Learning Sciences (CIRCLS)

The Center for Integrative Research in Computing and Learning Sciences (CIRCLS) is a community-based hub for NSF-funded researchers who explore and investigate emerging technologies for teaching and learning. The community includes awardees in the Research in Emerging Technologies for Teaching and Learning (RETTL) program as well as thematically related awards funded elsewhere within NSF. The lab’s involvement in CIRCLS is twofold. First we organize working groups that bring researchers, practitioners, and other stakeholders together to discuss important ideas in AI and emerging educational technologies. Second, we map the community by exploring the social networks and interdisciplinary collaborations among the NSF Cyberlearning/RETTL Principal Investigators.

This NSF funded project is a collaboration with Digital Promise, Education Development Center, and SRI International. Within the lab, Dr. Aditi Mallavarapu and Dr. Cassandra Kelley work on CIRCLS.
